Intro

Being down under, Aussies are generally isolated from the rest of the world’s population in terms of fashion; when the UK and US are experiencing summer conditions, Australians are in the middle of wintery weather and vice versa. In most parts of Australia, winter does not mean snowflakes and school closure but rather rainstorms and wild winds. This poses another problem when looking to the northern hemisphere for fashion inspiration as it does not get cold enough for fur (faux) coats and heavy winter clothing here. This blog aims to simplify the issue by giving tips on fashionable looks that have been ‘hijabified’ making them modest and suitable for wear by hijabis and other modest-clothing lovers :).
